Groupcal 2: Cannot add LDAP entries from the Address Book to iCal events as attendees

Problem:When inviting someone to an event in iCal, only local entries in my OS X Address Book and not people provided by the LDAP Server (in the Address Book) may be added as attendees.
Solution:This is a known problem with Apple iCal and the Address Book. It is not an issue with Groupcal.
AddressX from Snerdware will allow you to import your company's Global Address List into the OS X Address Book as a list of local entries. Among other things, this would allow you to invite people from your company directory using the Address Book with iCal.
