Information About You
We collect several types of information on our Site. We collect "Personal Information", which generally speaking is information that can be used to identify you individually, such as your name and address. We may also collect "Clickstream Information," which is information about the use of our Site, such as the referring page that brought you to the Snerdware" site. The following is a more detailed explanation of these types of information as well as when and how we collect and use it.
Email Address. If you elect to submit Feedback, we ask for and collect your email address. Alternatively, when you purchase a license to use Products, we may ask for and collect your email address or the e-mail address of an administrative contact. Additionally, when you purchase a license to use a Beta version of Products, then we ask for and collect your email address that you submitted for registration. We will delete your email address that was collected with the Beta version within ninety (90) days of the expiration of the Beta program, as determined by Snerdware". When you register the license (other than the Beta version) that you purchased, we ask for your email address, but we do not retain it; instead we will retain a one-way hash (a mathematically derived identification number) of your fully-qualified email address. We collect and store your email address on Snerdware's servers so that we may notify you from time-to-time regarding new developments or other information relating to Products. Your use of Products is consent to receive non-marketing product-related emails (such as expiration date of a Beta version).
Comments. We may collect information that identifies you personally when you submit comments, questions or suggestions regarding Products to us.
Use of Your Personal Information
We do not sell or disclose information that identifies you personally or makes it possible for other parties to contact you directly without your consent. We may use, sell, disclose, or otherwise dispose of your Personal Information we collect in the following circumstances:
Clickstream and Demographic Information
We may collect Clickstream Information about you and your use of Products when you use the Site. For instance, we may collect information such as entry and exit points for the Snerdware LLC website (i.e., referring URLs or domains), site traffic statistics, page views, impressions, and operating system and browser type. In addition, when you request to download Products, our servers will automatically log your IP address. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web.
Storage and Security
We use commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain Personal Information to protect it from loss, misuse, alternation or destruction by any unauthorized party. We may store information that we collect from your use of Products indefinitely. We use the following measures to protect information collected and stored from our Site:

Once you terminate your license for Products, you will not receive any promotional or marketing materials from us (unless you Opt-In ) as described by this policy based on Personal Information you have provided to use through the Site.
You may opt-in by checking the box to subscribe or opt-in when purchasing a Products license. Alternatively, if you would like us to send you informational and promotional materials about Snerdware or Products (such as our email updates) that we think may be of interest to you, you can add yourself to our e-mail list at any time by emailing to "" with the word "subscribe" in the subject line.
