Groupcal 3
          Synchronization Settings
Available calendars
This is a list of iCal calendars that are available to be synchronized with Exchange. To setup a calendar for synchronization simply click the checkbox next to the calendar's name. When a calendar has been setup for synchronization is selected from the list you will be able to change Groupcal's various synchronization options. Once a calendar has been setup for synchronization you may synchronize it with Exchange. Any events or tasks that calendar contains will be added to Exchange when the calendar is first synchronized. Subscribed iCal calendars will not appear in this list. To delete a calendar, select it and then press the Delete key (on your keyboard) or select Delete from the Edit menu.

WARNING: Deleting a calendar from this list will also delete the calendar in iCal.

New calendar
This will create a new calendar in iCal and automatically set it for synchronization with Exchange in Groupcal. Once the calendar has been created it will appear in the list.
Using Exchange account
Select the Exchange account you wish to use when synchronizing the calendar. This will determine the Exchange server Groupcal will contact and which username and password it will use.
Synchronize calendar events

If this is checked, Groupcal will synchronize events between the calendar iCal and Exchange.

Synchronize tasks

If this is checked, Groupcal will synchronize tasks (todo items) between the calendar iCal and Exchange.

Only when my network is
If this is checked Groupcal will only synchronize the calendar when your OS X network location matches the network location selected in Groupcal.
Remove alarms
When this is checked events synchronized from Exchange will have their alarms removed when in iCal. New events created in iCal will also have their alarm settings removed when written to Exchange.

This will not change the alarm settings for any events on your Exchange server.

Automatically refresh
When this is checked Groupcal will automatically synchronize the calendar at the selected interval.
This calendar is read-only
When this is checked Groupcal will discard any changes you make to the calendar in iCal when synchronizing with Exchange. For your convenience, Groupcal will also set the calendar to be read-only in iCal.

Setting a calendar to be read-only only effects the calendar in iCal. It does not have any effect on your Exchange server. Additionally, this setting will not prevent changes from being made to the calendar if it is moved to another Mac or device such as a Palm via iSync.

Show Advanced
Displays a drawer that allows you to change Groupcal's advanced calendar synchronization settings. more
Manually synchronizing a calendar in Groupcal

Selecting the calendar from this list will synchronize the calendar with Exchange. Selecting "Synchronize All" will synchronize all calendars in the list with Exchange sequentially.
